Went to go again but they were closed on a Saturday night before 7pm, was really looking forward to having their icecream since we came from Denver to do a wedding. We've had their icecream before and we really liked it.

Delicious ice cream, the girl on this place was super sweet and polite.

Ice cream was delicious, but personally I thought the menu was tough to decide because they had many similar flavor ice cream but only the title of "Death by Chocolate", "Mocha", "Coffee", "Expresso", etc. Also their flavors outside were different than inside and employees were pretty slow for how swamped they were.Prices are average for a mountain town and with the line going out the door it took 20+ minutes to get a cone.Btw: Bing Cherry vanilla was delicious, slightly tart, not too sweet, large pieces of cherry. Wow, it impressed us. The other chocolate almond coffee flavor did not impress

Amazing selection of ice creams!! The perfect thing to cool down on a hot day after a long hike nearby. Can't go wrong with any of the flavors, and 1 scoop gives you a plentiful helping! 🍦❤️🙌

Ice cream very good with LOTS of flavor selections / variety. Recommended. Chocolates, at least the dark chocolate covered carmels, were just average and I would not get again.

Grand Lake Chocolate shop is a family owned small business, family owned and served which is great actually. The variety of Chocolate covered fruits, nuts and others eatables in addition to the ice cream and candy’s was excellent. It almost feels they are in the business cause they like to see the smiles on people faces when the get their little piece of Heaven! Took some Taffy for friends and coworkers too.

My wife just got her ice cream from here. She said that this was the best ice cream she had for ages. Good job!

Been coming here since I was a kid. Ice cream is what it is, but the atmosphere and nostalgia send it over the top.

Oh boy!!! The homemade everything is awesome! Also, if you're looking for ice cream, you're in the right place. Get the "Death by Chocolate"!! And, if you don't want the best chocolate ice cream in the world, they have 33 other flavors to pick from. Yum!

It's our favorite after dinner stop. Love the multiple flavors and the sweet staff.

Ice cream is good about average in price for the region. Very popular mid-day when line forming. It was worth the wait.

Great Ice Cream

MUST GO! The perfect place to stop with our family for treat. We live in Denver and drive up to get out of the heat and cool off with their amazing ice cream, awesome caramel apples, and dipped strawberries! Friendly staff. We love that it's a family owned business, too!

It’s a small cute place where you can get variety of handmade chocolates. But yes..!! It is little expensive.

The Grand Lake Chocolate shop everyone must stop in when visiting dispite the long line every time. I just visited last weekend and was extremely pleased by the service I received by the one employee working. He was patient and polite even though he was putting up with rude customers. It’s worth the wait!! Don’t forget to pick up a Carmel Apple or two!

I have literally been getting ice cream here since I was a kid. Love it. Best in town, if I am near grand lake I always stop here. parking can be a pain but worth a walk. Kids usually run the shop but are always polite and speedy. I hope they stay in business a long time.

Great ice cream shop with cute decor and fast, pleasant service. They had a wide variety of flavors and I loved trying their white chocolate dipped waffle cones. We also enjoyed their cut up candied apple. Definitely worth a stop!

Best ice cream around!!!! We drove 30 min every day (at least once) while in CO to have ice cream here. Friendly service! Peppermint is the best!

I loved trying this cute place for the first time. The line was almost out the door but it was worth the wait. The coffee ice cream is so good and try the milk chocolate peanut butter cups, they are fantastic!

I stopped for coffee because the coffee shop was closed. It was just a K-cup that I made, but it wasn't great and there wasn't creamer. The ice cream was delicious. They didn't do shakes and they were out of some flavors. The chocolates did look tasty. So maybe come here for chocolate treats.

My 2 year old wasn’t wearing a mask and we were refused service. Not only is he 2 but he has sensory processing disorder. She was so rude to us and I had to drag my 2 year old screaming because we promised him ice cream. Unbelievably rude people. 😰

We live here and love them. They're great if you have kids. Their dollar kids cones are the best and the little bitty one get a kids cone free! Defiantly the best place if you have kids and on a budget with the need for ice cream this is the place for you!!!!!!!!!!

Best deal in town for a kiddie scoop. They have lots of flavors to choose from including a dairy free option. Plus they have sprinkles!!
